One of the nicer domestic chores - I love mending clothes! I find the whole process of mending and altering clothes really therapeutic. For small amounts of stitching I love to use the hand machine, it's so much more tactile than the electric machine. The table that this machine is on is my Nan's old Singer treadle - still in working order!
