My husband bought me a surprise. It's a grab rail for our Triumph Bonneville, but I call it a Butt Bar - because my 'butt' butts up against it! I certainly don't use it to hold on to - it's so uncomfortable to be reaching behind the whole ride. I don't normally need to actually hold on but just use my legs to balance, if we're going a bit faster then I just hold the waist of whoever is in front of me. I really wanted one so that I could feel where the seat ended so I was reassured that I wasn't slipping off the back. Never let it be said that romance is dead, not only did he surprise me with the rail but fitted it to the bike without delay. Thank you hubby!!
