Family Day Out

I thoroughly enjoyed a family day out to the Rhug Estate, Corwen, Denbighshire on a Triumph Bonneville, a Triumph Speed Triple and Suzuki SV650. We hoped that a bison burger would have rewarded a few hours 'in the saddle,' but they'd run out - despite a field of Bison nearby. We'll have to go again sometime soon… I've noticed that motorbike trips and food seem to go hand in hand. My husband and I often make a quick jaunt to Buxton for a coffee in the Pavillion Gardens before heading back home to work.
My youngest son has just left home and gone to work with a friend in Anglesey. Finding ourselves just under an hour away we made an impromptu visit - for another cup of tea. It was so lovely to see him so unexpectedly! No apparent signs of homesickness whatsoever (for which I am glad.)
The return journey was much colder (having missed the glorious weather earlier this week) and so we stopped off in Llangollen for (another) hot drink and a cake - to keep our energy levels up. We finally arrived home at about 9 o' clock tired, cold and hungry - but very happy.
My eldest son is due to return to RNCM for his final term and so it only seemed fair to give him a hearty send-off. This called for more food in the form of take-away Pizza.
I've decided that motorbiking is definitely not good for your figure!
